It feels like January has been a really long month! There hasn't been a whole lot going on this month which is why I haven't blogged!
One thing that did happen to our friend, Jeanette is she had her precious, baby boy Max. He is so sweet and cuddly!
Claire was down for the count for a few days. She got a bad upper respiratory infection that lasted a week! We are so glad she is all better.
Heather and I had a Bahrain day! I had a great glass of wine at La Vinoteca Barcelona. The weather was gorgeous!
This is Claire with Dr. Yasser. I brought her back in for her follow up appointment. He is a man of few words, but she loves him!
We celebrated Jeanette by hosting a Sip and See shower
All of us were shocked when Nicole left to go back home! They had a very quick turnaround time. We tried to squeeze as much time in with her as possible...including a trip to O-AK Vet. She had to transport their cat back home-which is a HUGE ordeal here. There is so much paperwork that has to be done- the cat has an actual real passport. We went with her to the vet in Jubail to get her updated shot records for her passport. We walked into a room with the "vet" who was about 25 years old...most likely not a vet with any kind of degree...
We got to watch the cat for a few days after Nicole and her family left. Cat (yes, that's her name) had to leave on another flight. Because the Emirates flight to Houston is 16 hours, they don't allow pets to fly on that one. Cat had to fly to Amsterdam first where they then take them out and feed them, etc and then send them on the next flight to Houston.
The girls have been loving all of their time with their favorite person!!
Elise had her first soccer tournament! She had such a good time. When we left she said, "I wish we did that every weekend!"
