Christmas in Sugar Land

We got in the car Christmas afternoon and drove back to Josh's parents to celebrate Christmas.

Claire loved these snowmen!

So many presents. They couldn't even walk through!

I was very happy to get my Cricut!

Claire received a huge box of babies and was very happy! She cried and whined until Josh got every single one out.

We took the girls on The Polar Express train in Palestine. We went on it last year and had so much fun!
It is a long drive, but I think it's well worth it!

Claire ate her entire cookie the first five minutes!

Elise's favorite part is having the conductor punch her ticket.

Elise was so happy to get to hold baby Reese. She just kept staring at her! She's such a pretty baby.

We met up with Josh's good friend, Jeff and his wife for drinks one night. We went to The Flying Saucer which is my favorite place to go for beer! The choices are unlimited!

Claire loves putting on Elise's bike helmet

We had so much fun visiting with Darci and Jackson at chick fil a. The kids had a blast and loved being able to order on their own. Elise and Jackson have been friends for a couple of years! It is so fun to watch them get older!

Josh arrived in Houston!

Our first night back in Houston I took the girls to a Methodist church that had a "walk through Bethlehem." It was very well done. It was the First United Methodist church in Missouri City. The girls really enjoyed it. There was even a hay ride at the end.

The girls both made their own ornaments and had special snacks.

The next day the girls and I ran errands and went to the park! It was an exciting day because later tonight Josh was landing.

Elise told me she wasn't going to nap because she was too excited for Daddy to come. I found her like this while watching a show.

Josh had three very happy girls to see him! Claire keeps staring at him in disbelief.

Elise has been asking for Daddy to take her to chuck e cheese, so his first day that is where we went!

We had a very special visit with our good friends, Emily and Andrew. We miss them so much and it's always fun when we see them! We used to hang out with them every weekend!

Josh and I took the girls to a new light display in Sugar Land that's in constellation field. It was really neat to be able to walk down where the baseball players play. The girls also got to see Santa!

I could not be happier to be able to go see baby Reese. Erin had her this week and I was so lucky to be in town and be one of the first to hold her. She is a doll baby!

Friends

We got back from San Antonio and we went with Josh's family to pick out a tree. Elise was excited.

Claire and Elise both had to get their shots this week! Elise calls them "mosquito bites." I was so nervous that it was going to be a disaster, but both girls did great! On another note, I hope Claire's husband doesn't mind pacis and stuffed giraffes! I'm not sure when we are going to be able to break this habit....

I took the girls to Amy's ice cream for a special treat!

I was thrilled to help throw my good friend Erin, a baby shower. My friend, Katherine at Simply Party did all the invites and favor tags! Everything turned out so cute! I can't wait to meet this sweet girl!

Elise was beyond excited to spend the night with Ethan and Parker. They have so much fun together! This time she even learned to shoot a bow and arrow!

We took them to the Festival of Lights in moody gardens. They loved seeing the new ice sculptures and all the lights!

I can't believe Elise was brave enough to go down the ice slide!

I was able to meet my sweet friends, Emily and Cristal. I even got to see sweet, baby Hannah.

The girls were super excited to see Ms. Norma! They love her.

Absolutely loved going to see my sweet friend, Mandy and her new baby girl. I was so sad that she is already 4 months old!! She was still so little though! Mandy came to see me several times when Elise and Claire were newborn babies. I love going to see the newborn babies. It is such a special time!

Julie came over and we ended up staying up way too late! I have such good memories with these girls!!

This is Elise and I sending a picture to Josh saying, "we miss you, Daddy"
