Sleepover and Beach Fun!

Elise had been begging us to do a big sleepover with her and her friends. Josh set up the tent in true Eagle Scout style! He made sure everything was perfect.

Claire also had her first sleepover at Savannah's house! I can't believe she made it the whole night without needing mommy!

The girls each made their own pizzas.

We made yummy cookies!

Girls are so much fun!

Jeanette had to try on some jeans before her vacation. In Saudi Arabia there are no dressing rooms and the return policy is horrible! She had to find some jeans fast! So, we formed a  human chain around her so she could sneakily try on her clothes.

Some pictures from Claire's first sleepover

Our monthly coffee morning

I was bus monitor last week and Claire was falling asleep on my lap.

We are so excited that our beef is from the USA now! This just happened a few weeks ago. We have been getting tired of eating the Brazilian and Canadian beef.

This week was the first week the weather got down to the 80's! We had breakfast outside on the patio to celebrate the beautiful change.

Elise wanted to bring me breakfast in bed, she had a little help from Daddy.

Mr. Yasser with all the girls!

This is probably my favorite school project yet! The art teacher had all of the kids dress up as Frida Khalo. Claire was not amused at all!

Starting our fourth year...

Elise was excited to wear her soccer bows to soccer. She looks forward to it every week!

Claire is always dancing on the sidelines.

It's hard for me to believe, but we have finished our third year in Saudi. I can't believe that we have been here for three years. Heather made a cake for us to celebrate and we smuggled sparklers in for the kids!

Heather brought us back mud from the Dead Sea. We  had a spa day down at the beach. It made our skin so soft!!

We celebrated Dr. Seuss day with wacky colored cookies, green eggs, and bacon!

A good friend left us their kayak when they repatriated, so Josh took it out this weekend. The girls all had a blast taking turns riding on it. Needless to say after a few hours, Josh was exhausted! ha!

Elise woke up the morning of the Spring Spectacular day and was full of energy! She couldn't wait to play the games and eat yummy food! Claire was excited about the horses. Unfortunately, the Saudi skies opened up and it poured down rain all afternoon. We ended up only staying a few hours. We still had a good time!

Claire smiled nicely when I said to do a silly face!

She loved the American food stand!

They were so excited to see BeBe and Papa who had returned from their long trip. They were all over them!

When we left the party, the entrance to the school was blocked off. Whenever we are in the school, it's abaya free. However, to get to our bus on this day we had to go out in the middle of a public parking lot. This is the first time we've ever been abaya free in Saudi! We had to run to to the bus, but of course had to get the obligatory picture--and to make it even better, we were in front of a mosque.

Claire wanted me to take a picture of her pink hair!
