Donuts and KK

Elise had been looking forward to donuts with dads ever since it was put on the calendar! Josh was equally excited when he saw the Krispy Kreme donut box. I was happy he snapped some pictures for me.

Elise was very excited that Kk came to the Middle East this week. She couldn't wait to see what was in her bag.

Kk and her good friend and my parents went to Dubai for a week and Josh and I met them in Bahrain for a short weekend getaway. It was a lot of fun to see Kristin!

Elise was so excited to make her own pizza at one of the restaurants.

Claire did great this weekend, but it's so funny, whenever we are in a hotel room she always wakes up just one hour too early, but will fall back asleep next to us! So...no we don't let us sleep with us! This was just taken in one of those early morning wake ups.

Elise really wanted to go to the pool. Luckily the pool was heated, as it is still somewhat chilly here at times!

Love their matching expressions...

Easter Bunny Pictures

In my spare time here in the Kingdom I've taken a photography class. There is a wife here that is a professional photographer and she has graciously been teaching us. It's been a lot of fun to learn about my camera and I feel totally cool using words like, "aperture and shutter speed."
I took some pictures of the girls with a bunny this weekend. The bunny didn't cooperate totally, but I got some cute ones of both girls anyway!

We accompanied our friend, Stephanie to her ob appointment. We are thrilled she is due in September and having the baby here in Saudi. Her doctor was really fun and took a selfie with us! I'm also now following him on Instagram! Crazy!

I also hosted a Dr. Seuss party this weekend. The kids had a lot of fun doing lots of crafts and learning about Dr. Seuss.

Since we live in a pork free country, we had to settle for green eggs and turkey.

Spring Spectacular

If you are an avid blog reader you will know that this past week was the one year mark of us living in Saudi. Some days are harder than others and some days are not as hard. It's been filled with lots of challenging, sad, exciting, and happy moments.

We were so glad that this past weekend was the schools spring carnival. Elise had a lot of fun seeing her friends and playing games!

Claire had enough excitement for one day!

Claire loves this ride on unicorn that Santa brought her!
