Elise's Birthday

I can't believe we celebrated Elise's 5th birthday here in the Kingdom! She had SO many birthday celebrations! She is one lucky little girl.

We strolled the little red wagon down to the party!

Desert Life

The past few weeks have flown by since we've been in Saudi! Even though it it still 110 degrees outside as I write this post, we have been able to start going to the pool again. With school starting and all the after school activities, we have been running and running!

Elise had her first sleepover at her friend, Jennah's house! She was so excited! However, she did not quite make it through the whole night! She did get to go back over for breakfast the next morning!

We went to Meet the Teacher the weekend before school started. Elise was so excited to see her friends and meet her new teacher.

You might wonder why I am so dressed up and professional looking on the first day of school!?!! Well, I took a 3 week sub job to help out in 3rd grade. I really enjoyed it and fell in love with all the students. I'm going to continue to sub on as needed basis.

Claire also enjoyed her new school! When I got to substitute, I can bring her with me to their playschool. It is a fabulous program and she really enjoyed it.

My friend, Heather also took a sub job at the same time. So, Claire had her best friend, Savannah at school with her. These two are quite the mess together!

We've been keeping busy with sprinkler activities and pizza parties!

Their friend, Lainey has a new turtle and Elise and Claire love him!

We watched Lainey for her parents so they could go on a babymoon to Bahrain.

This was Elise's first school project! She had a little help from Daddy.

This is a flashback picture I found of Claire. This was the 1st month we were here in Saudi. I can not believe how much bigger she and Savannah are now!

Our friend, Stephanie had her sweet, baby boy! I've already gotten to get a lot of baby snuggles!

Having a tea party at BeBe's house...

Ms. Heather is teaching her how to play piano and she loves it!

Josh is my official flower arranger. =)

Had to buy this cup at the store!

We had a group date night and the girls loved getting to watch a movie together!

I will do another post of Elise's party, but here a few sneak peaks! My friend, Linda helped me make this cake!

These two lucky girls got to have a sleepover at BeBe's house! They were super excited!

I think they may take after their mothers....

Elise had a teddy bear picnic at her school. It was a lot fun because we also able to come and help!

Love my sweet and sassy girls!

There is a precious tea room in Jubail. BeBe, Heather, and I took the girls this morning because school is out for the next two weeks for the EID holiday. The girls loved sipping their tea and felt like royalty. They of course, had to bring their Fancy Nancy books.
