We celebrated Thanksgiving Weekend in Bahrain with our friends. We had a great time. Josh had Thursday off so we went a little early and had a great lunch at Coco's.
The girls loved spending time with their friends and playing this weekend!

I had to go back to the dreaded bus monitor duty. It's a lot easier when Claire is sitting by me! She keeps me entertained.
Claire's class had a fun field trip to Pearl Beach.
We decorated cute fish for the kid Christmas tree on our compound.
We had a fun pretend "Lights in the Heights" night! We walked around our small compound checking out the Christmas lights.
Josh had a work trip to Dubai and I was lucky enough to be able to go along with him. We got to stay at Raffles and it was so much fun!
They thought it was our anniversary.
I was thrilled that my friend Norma just happened to be in Dubai the same week! It was so nice seeing them.
I missed the girls horribly. BeBe sent me lots of pictures of them!

They had real, live Christmas trees in Dubai! There was Christmas music playing everywhere. It was a little piece of home.
We watched them make this Gingerbread house throughout the week.
We were there for the Christmas tree lighting at the hotel. They had music and passed out food and drinks. It was fun.
We can go in the Emirates lounge at the Dubai airport and it amazes me how many Voss water bottles they pass out.
Elise had her music concert at ISG also. She did great!
We helped BeBe plan the company Christmas party. It was Christmas in Hawaii and turned out so cute!
We made gingerbread houses!

We had our friends over and made Christmas cookies.
Lovu is still spoiling Claire by literally picking her up and putting her on the bus every morning!
Elise's class had a big field trip. We went all the way to Khobar to the science museum. Who knew that Saudi had an IMAX theater hidden here? It's fairly new- and the museum was fun!
