End of Year Program

Elise had her end of the year program at school! It was a cute, cat in the hat program.

Silly girls!

Josh worked shift this week so he got to spend his mornings with Claire! She loved her time with Daddy.

The girls are so entertained by all the fishing!

We were hard at work this week! Ha!

A lady on the compound is repatriating and I bought her piano/keyboard from her! Elise has been taking lessons from Ms. Heather and loves it! She is so excited to have her own!

Elise had her last basketball game and they won!!

When we first moved here, 2 1/2 years ago these sweet ladies, Vera and Liane watched Elise and Lauren for us at their school on the compound. Heather and I were nervous and sleep deprived moms when we dropped them off for the first time. We are so grateful for their love to our children throughout these past years. We can't believe they are repatriating to the Philippines! They will be greatly missed!

Birthday Celebrations

There has been an enormous amount of fish on our compound beach lately. The girls love going out to look at it on our nightly walks.

The girls were very excited to celebrate our birthdays this week!

I was very impressed with myself to make this cookie cake! It tasted delicious too!

We said goodbye to some sweet ladies that are leaving Murjan for good. One of them has lived here for 6 years! We will miss them.

I took a half day off of work and was able to accompany Elise's class on their field trip. We had a lot of fun and all the moms were exhausted by the end of it! Kindergarten class is not for the weak!!

Josh took us out for dinner for my birthday!

Josh had been planning something for my birthday for a few weeks and wouldn't tell me any details! He's always had trouble surprising me because I can be the best detective! He did a great job of pulling this off! We had a great weekend in Bahrain with our good friends.

This picture pretty much sums up our night! Ha!

Our children were in VERY good hands all day and night! Thankful we don't have to worry about that!

At our compound mini mart

Mr. Payton treating the girls and Rodel to ice cream after their basketball game

And she crashed!
