Saying bye to Josh and a girls weekend

This was a bittersweet week because we knew Josh was leaving at the end of it! We had a great time at their family friends beach house in Galveston. The girls loved riding the golf carts on the beach. 

The girls had been begging Josh to take them to chuck e cheese. 

Claire is still really afraid of Chuck E.

Our last lunch together for awhile. There were lots of tears as we sent him off!

I was glad that while he was on the long flight, I had a girls night with all of my Saudi friends. When he's on the plane for 16 hours I find myself checking my phone constantly on the status. I was glad to get my mind temporarily off of that!

The girls and I had a blast catching up and it was as if no time had passed!

Golfing is not my thing! 

Swimming, Fredricksburg, and Friends

Elise really enjoyed her swim lessons. She loves doing the back stroke!

Josh and I enjoyed a two night getaway to Fredericksburg. 

When we got back we took the kids to see Shrek at Main Street. They loved it!

Josh's good friends from college came in town for the weekend so we got to catch up with them and the girls loved playing together!

Happy Father's Day! We had a good day celebrating with Josh and PawPaw, wish PaPa could have been here too!
