Friends and family

Elise has two best friends from clear lake that she still constantly talks about! Ethan and Parker! Their mom, my good friend, Erin watched Elise while I was working. They became so close! I'm so happy they picked right back up!

Elise was thrilled to get to sleep with them in their new bunk bed and watch a movie in the movie room!
We also took them to Palm Springs at Moody Gardens. We both have memberships there and they pay for themselves because kids under 4 are free! It's so expensive to just go one time, membership is the way to go!

I worked with some amazing teachers at Robinson! One of the funniest, retired this year! Karen was always getting us to laugh throughout the school day! She is the most animated person I have ever met! We would always have her read books to our students because she could do the voices so well!
We made this for her to remember her times at Robinson!
I bought it from the etsy seller, sunsetfog. I'm really happy with it! These are all of our inside jokes.

We finally got to Alecia's house where we get to stay for two weeks! The kids are having so much fun together! Elise and Gregory are going to go to school together too. I don't know who is more excited, them or us!

We celebrated Larkin's first birthday and went to a Fourth of July parade where we were actually in it!

Too cute to not post!

Claire helped helped herself to the cake!

We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant, La Fogata. They have awesome margaritas!

We've been spending time at the pool! Elise and Gregory are becoming quite good! They have been loving it!

Vacation

We had planned a family vacation for awhile now to St. John and we were so excited to be there this summer! We had this trip planned well before we knew we were moving to Saudi!

It was so exciting because it was the first time Elise and Claire got to see Marissa, Gregory, and Larkin since February. I was so happy to see them pick up right where they left off.

We all met at Ninfas on Navigation which is a staple in the Houston restaraunt world.

Thanks to Alecia, they either had matching or coordinating pajamas and clothes for every single day. Yes, every single day. I didn't even have to pack pajamas because she had all of them for me. This is true...she really does this.

The kids loved riding on the taxi and in our rental jeep. They thought they were too cool.

There were tons of kitties outside the condos. Every morning the kids went out on the balcony to talk to them and feed them Cheerios.

Our favorite beach in St. John is Maho beach because that's where you can see a lot of sea turtles.

Our other favorite beach is in the British Virgin Islands. It's where soggy dollar bar is. The water is so clear it's like you are swimming in a pool. You take a boat over and we had lunch there too. They are famous for their "painkiller" drinks.

We had so much fun all together! We were very sad the vacation had to end.

The girls and I were even more sad because that meant it was time for Josh to go back to Saudi. Luckily, the girls and I get to stay the summer, but he can't take that much time off work.

He wanted to take the girls to the zoo when it was overcast one day.

We spent the night in Galveston celebrating our anniversary. We had so much fun!
